Keeping DinDin a kind place

How do I report a photo, comment, profile or dare?
Every piece of content someone else posted has a Report action: on a Kitchen Wins photo, tap the “…” button on the photo and choose Report (this covers the rating comment on it too); on someone's profile, tap the “…” next to Follow and choose Report; on a dare you received, tap Report on its card. Pick a reason, add a note if you like, and send. The person you report is not told who reported them. A member of the DinDin team looks at every report within 24 hours and removes anything that breaks our Terms of Use; repeat offenders lose their account.

How do I block someone?
Open their profile, tap the “…” next to Follow and choose Block — or tap Block right after sending a report. A blocked person can no longer see your profile, photos or dares, follow you, dare you, credit you as a cook or add you to a kitchen, and you won't see theirs. Any follow between you is removed and open dares are cancelled. They are not notified.

How do I unblock someone?
Settings (the gear icon) → Account → Blocked users, then Unblock next to their name. You can also open their profile and tap Unblock.

Why was my username, comment or note rejected?
Usernames, rating comments, kitchen names and dare notes are checked for profanity and slurs before they are saved. Pick friendlier wording and try again. If you think a word was blocked by mistake, email us.

Account and subscription

How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account and its data yourself, right in the app: Settings → Profile → Delete account. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data when you do. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it in your Apple ID settings first.

How do I get a copy of my data?
Settings → Profile → Export my data saves a JSON file with everything DinDin holds about you.

How do I restore a subscription on a new device?
See Restore.

How do I cancel?
iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → DinDin → Cancel. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Is DinDin available yet?
DinDin is currently in private testing ahead of its App Store launch. Check back here for updates.

What platforms does DinDin support?
DinDin is built for iOS first. An Android version isn't available yet.
